AID FOR IZYUM HOSPITAL (873,000 UAH)

Our foundation purchased and delivered important medical equipment for Izyum Central Hospital for the total amount of 873,000 UAH, which includes: a sterilizer, 2 electrocardiographs, and 2 electrosurgical devices.
Military actions in Izyum began in February 2022. The Izyum direction was one of the most dangerous, the city was under constant shelling. Local people together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively fought for their freedom and independence of Ukrainian lands. From April 1 to September 10, 2022, the city was under occupation.
After the liberation of the city by the Ukrainian military, the world found out about the atrocities of the Russian army in Izyum. The city suffered a lot, including the Izyum Central Hospital.
The hospital suffered significant destruction from shelling in March. The hospital’s medical staff performed complex operations in the basements. But even in such a difficult situation, hospital workers continued to provide assistance to local residents.
The Russians destroyed a large part of the hospital as well as almost all the equipment. Each department of the hospital needs restoration and the necessary medical equipment.
The equipment we purchased will help provide first aid to people admitted to the hospital with mine-explosive injuries and damage caused by hostilities. The hospital provides medical assistance to about 40 people every day. The total population of Izyum today is 20,000, but every day more and more residents return to the city so the need for medical services is constantly growing.
