HUMANITARIAN MISSION TO KHERSON REGION (150 000 UAH)

01.09.2023

In June 2023, immediately after the explosion at the Kakhovka Dam, we, together with our partners EasyPay, provided financial support in the amount of 150 000 UAH (approx. 4055$) for a humanitarian mission to the Kherson region carried out by the FRIDA Ukraine organization.

FRIDA Ukraine is the largest Ukrainian-Israeli association of volunteer doctors. Over 400 highly qualified doctors from both countries work together on outreach missions in Ukraine’s frontline and de-occupied territories, specifically in Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. Both primary and secondary care physicians provide assistance to the most vulnerable populations, including the elderly, women, and children.

With this mission, the FRIDA Ukraine team set out to the Kherson region, specifically visiting Posad-Pokrovsky and the village of Pravdyne.

“ALMOST NO INTACT BUILDING… AND INSTEAD OF A ROOF, MANY PEOPLE HAVE STRETCHED PLASTIC FILM…,” – THIS IS WHAT THE DOCTORS SAW.

During their mission, doctors provided around 520 consultations.

Additionally, acute pancreatitis was diagnosed during one patient’s examination, leading to hospitalization. Essential medications were also distributed to the residents of Kherson.

Friends, we thank each of you for supporting our foundation’s projects. Thanks to your contributions, this invaluable assistance became possible.
