GLOBAL REHABILITATION STANDARDS IN VINNYTSIA: 12 SPECIALISTS CERTIFIED IN PROGRESSIVE NORWEGIAN NEURAC METHOD

15.05.2026

To restore pain-free movement, having advanced equipment is not enough — it requires strong, cutting-edge knowledge. That is why our foundation organized a certification training in the Neurac method for 12 specialists at the Vinnytsia Psychoneurological Hospital.

Neurac is a progressive Norwegian musculoskeletal treatment technology that is relatively new to Ukraine. It is performed using specialized Redcord suspension systems. While this equipment was already installed at the hospital, this intensive training course helped the medical team fully unlock its potential.

Three Days of Theory and Intensive Hands-On Practice

The 3-day program combined an in-depth theoretical foundation with extensive hands-on practice. The training was conducted by Olena Alyoshko — a physical therapist and officially certified Neurac instructor in Ukraine. She helped the hospital’s specialists master every nuance of working with these complex suspension systems and taught them how to identify “weak links” in patients’ muscles. As a result of the training, all participants received international certificates and gained the opportunity to consult directly with Olena regarding complex clinical cases in their subsequent practice.

The training participants highlighted the high efficiency and innovativeness of the methodology, and the facility’s occupational therapist shared her impressions:
“Neurac is truly a modern tool that opens up many opportunities in working with pain and functional disorders. It was especially valuable to see how technology can be combined with clinical reasoning to make the rehabilitation process more effective, engaging, and motivating for the patient. It is incredibly inspiring to see these approaches being actively used by specialists worldwide, and I cannot wait to immediately implement this new knowledge into my own practice.” — Yuliia Barska.

Why This Training Is Critically Important for the Center

The specialists are already implementing their newly acquired knowledge into their daily work, as the workload on the facility is immense. In 2023, a modern Rehabilitation Center and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation department were opened at the Vinnytsia Hospital named after O. I. Yushchenko. Every month, about 100 patients undergo treatment here, including veterans, civilians, and internally displaced persons with severe injuries of various types, such as traumatic brain injuries, blast wounds, fractures, strokes, PTSD, etc.

Today, this department is an official Center of Excellence of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, functioning as a training hub for multidisciplinary teams from all over the country. Therefore, continuous professional development of local specialists holds strategic importance for the entire healthcare system.

Now, thanks to the course, the hospital team returns to work highly motivated and confident in every action. For the patients of the facility, who fight every day for their right to a full life, this means immediate access to world-class recovery methods, as well as a real chance to break free from chronic pain and regain their physical independence.

This training was organized within the framework of our “Rehabilitation: New Life” project, with the support of our permanent partner, GlobalGiving. We are incredibly proud of our cooperation with the hospital team, which actively implements global standards into their work!
