HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES FOR VOLOSHCHUK FAMILY-TYPE CHILDREN’S HOME (11,097 UAH).

15.11.2023

Last week, we purchased and delivered household appliances for the total amount of  11,097 UAH for Ruslan Voloshchuk’s family-type children’s home.

Number of children: 8 children.

Nova Dolyna, Odesa region. (displaced from the city of Beryslav, Kherson region)

Ruslan is a unique person, a caring man who gave a family and a home for 14 boys, six of whom are already leading an independent life.

In 2002, Ruslan’s son tragically died, which also led to a divorce from his wife. Time passed, but the desire to have a family did not leave the husband, so in 2009, Ruslan decided to adopt children. After completing his studies and completing all the necessary documents, Ruslan became the father of two boys – Maksym, 4.5 years old, and Vladyslav, 3 years old. The children settled into the family very quickly, and soon they had another brother – the boy ran away from his aunt, who constantly abused him. In 2013, the family already became a family-type orphanage and Ruslan had 6 children – 6 restless boys.

During all this time, Ruslan took 14 children for upbringing, and the door of his house was always open for those who needed care. Almost all children are with very difficult fates: abandoned and traumatized by violence. But they found a new family, love and care.

Three older boys are now serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces, the others are studying.

“We were forced to leave our native city of Berislav because the damned rashists are destroying our city. The children dream of victory, we have a lot of photos left at home, almost all the walls are hung, everything is left there, life has become zero, it is difficult to live in someone else’s home, but there are children whom we have to teach, support and help to get through these difficult times” – shares with us Ruslan.

The aid was provided within the framework of the “Help to family-type children’s homes” project.
