HEARING AIDS FOR MAKAR FLUHRA (113,400 UAH)

11.03.2024

On Saturday, March 9, 2024, we provided Makar Fluhra with hearing aids worth 113,400 UAH.

Diagnosis: Bilateral Sensorineural Hearing Loss Grade 2.

Date of Birth: September 20, 2017

Makar is now 6 months old. The boy was born healthy, but when it was time to speak, the parents realized something was wrong. Makar did not respond to calls and other sounds. Then they turned to specialists, and after examining the boy, he was diagnosed with bilateral sensorineural hearing loss grade 2. Hearing aids were prescribed.

The parents could not afford to provide Makar with expensive devices, as he has an older brother, and all the money goes to support the family. However, time is passing, and Makar needed devices for full development.

Makar is an active and creative child; he loves riding a bike and drawing, and he also loves playing with his peers. However, there are difficulties: other children do not perceive Makar on the same level due to his hearing impairment, which in turn affects communication. But now these problems will be a thing of the past, thanks to the hearing aids. This year, Makar is preparing to enter first grade, and hearing aids will greatly influence the success of his learning and development.

We sincerely thank the dobro.ua platform and everyone who joined the fundraising and gave Makar the opportunity to hear!
