ASSISTANCE FOR THE MEDICAL TREATMENT OF ROSTYSLAV PROKOPENKO (11,095 UAH)

16.04.2024

Last week, we purchased and delivered medications Ursofalk and Biseptol, as well as specialized nutrition Fortini (45 units), for a total amount of 11,095 UAH for the treatment of Rostyslav Prokopenko.

Diagnosis: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Date of birth: September 29, 2017.

It all started when Rostyk began experiencing breathing problems. After examination, doctors identified a large tumor in the boy’s lungs, and after further tests, he was diagnosed with leukemia (acute lymphoblastic leukemia).

Rostyk and his mother live in Mykolaiv, but due to constant shelling of the city, the child was sent for treatment to Kyiv, to the “Okhmatdyt” hospital. He was treated there for 8.5 months.

Currently, the mother and Rostyslav are in Mykolaiv, continuing the treatment. Rostyk is going through a difficult period, his body does not accept regular food, and the boy only eats specialized, expensive nutrition. The quantity we purchased will last for almost a month of nutrition. The Ursofalk medication is used to support liver function, while Biseptol is a preventive and therapeutic measure against infections that may arise due to the weakened immune system during oncological treatment in children.

The assistance was provided within the framework of the “Childhood Cancer” program.
