MEDICATIONS FOR ADAM TYMOCHUK (14,730 UAH)

05.02.2025

We purchased and delivered medications worth  14,730 UAH for Adam Tymochuk. Specifically, the medications Albuven and Heptoral were provided.

Diagnosis: Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALK-positive)
Date of Birth: November 22, 2018

Albuvem (albumin) helps maintain blood protein levels and prevents swelling, while Heptoral (ademetionine) supports liver function, protecting it from the toxic effects of chemotherapy in the treatment of anaplastic large cell lymphoma in children.

Adam is 6 years old, and at the end of 2024, he was diagnosed with a severe illness—anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALK-positive). This is an aggressive form of cancer in the lymphatic system, which is most commonly found in children and young adults. However, it responds well to treatment, and the doctors’ prognosis is positive. The disease is accompanied by fever, weight loss, weakness, and, in some cases, skin rashes or lumps under the skin.

Since December 2024, Adam has been undergoing treatment at the Rivne Regional Children’s Hospital, and in January, he began his first cycle of chemotherapy. The next stages of treatment will depend on the effectiveness of the current therapy. We continue to support Adam and wish him strength and a speedy recovery.

This assistance was provided as part of the “Childhood Cancer” program.
