FURNITURE FOR THE STRELTSOVA FAMILY (12,279 UAH)
Last week, we purchased and delivered two sets of study furniture for the children in the family of Tetyana Streltsova, totaling 12,279 UAH.
The family lives in the village of Malomykolaivka, Dnipropetrovsk region, and cares for five foster children.
Family Story
In 2007, Tetyana’s biological son brought home a classmate who had no place to stay due to a difficult family situation. The boy stayed for the summer, and in the fall, after the intervention of the child welfare service, the family took legal guardianship of him. Later, they discovered that the boy had a brother, and in 2008, the family officially became foster parents.
In 2010, they welcomed two more children, and in 2021, three more joined their family. It was at this point that they received the status of a family-type children’s home. Currently, the family cares for five foster children, while the others have grown up and now live independently.
At the start of the full-scale invasion, the family was forced to evacuate to Turkey, but returned home after seven months.
Each child in the Streltsov family is unique. Svitlana has a talent for drawing; Vitaliy is passionate about cars; Maksym loves sports; Viktoria enjoys playing with dolls; and Valentyn dreams of becoming a police officer to protect others.
This year, Viktoria and Valentyn will start first grade. With their schooling being online, creating a comfortable and safe workspace for them is essential. Thanks to your support, this has become possible!
