FURNITURE WORTH 12,800 UAH FOR THE FAMILY OF TETYANA STRELTSOVA
Last week, we delivered furniture to the family of Tetyana Streltsova. We purchased a bunk bed and two orthopedic mattresses, with a total value of 12,800 UAH.
The family is raising 9 children and lives in the village of Malomykhailivka, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Family Story
In 2007, Tetyana’s biological son brought home a classmate who had no place to sleep due to difficult family circumstances.
The boy stayed for the summer, and in the fall — after contact from the child protection service — the family officially took him into care.
Later, they learned that the boy had a brother, and in 2008, the family became a foster family.
In 2010, they welcomed two more children, and in 2021 — three more. That year, the family received official status as a family-type children’s home.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the family was forced to evacuate to Turkey, but returned home seven months later.
Each child in the Streltsov family is unique. Svitlana loves to draw, Vitalii is passionate about cars, Maksym enjoys sports, Viktoria likes playing with dolls, and Valentyn dreams of becoming a police officer to protect people.
In June, the family once again opened their hearts to children in need. Four children from Kryvyi Rih, who had spent almost a year and a half in a rehabilitation center after being removed from unsafe families, came to live with them.
To prevent the children from ending up in an orphanage, they were immediately placed in the safe and caring environment of the Streltsov family.
We continue to help the family create a space where every child can feel safe and at home.
