175 DISPLACED PEOPLE RECEIVED HELP ON THE EVE OF NEW YEAR’S HOLIDAYS

22.12.2022

December is usually about New Year’s holidays, gifts and joy in every home. But this year, things are not as we are used to. Instead of traditional holiday worries, we stand side by side in defense of our country and do everything we can to help those, who are most affected by the war.

That’s why we joined the global charity campaign GivingTuesday on the Global Giving platform and collected funds to help 175 residents of the “Ya Dopomozhy” shelter in Uzhgorod. These are 106 women, 53 children, young families, elderly people, as well as those with special needs.

Providing food for such a large number of people requires significant supplies of food. Three times a day, every day, the shelter’s cooks prepare tens of kilograms of food.

So we purchased and delivered them vegetables, cereals, dairy products, meat, fish, and other long-term storage products.

In addition, we could not leave the children without a festive mood. Saint Nicholas visited them with the desired gifts – sweets, books, toys, art sets for creativity and warm clothes.

In total, the residents of the “Ya Dopomozhy” shelter received help from us in the amount of ≈2000$.

Thanks to those who took part in the fundraising and we sincerely congratulate everyone on the upcoming holidays! May 2023 bring us peace and all our wishes will certainly come true!
