AID TO KIROVOGRAD HOSPITAL (15,100 UAH)

21.09.2023

We provided the Kirovohrad Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital with consumables necessary for the treatment of children with cancer for a total of 15,100 UAH. Namely, Infusomat Space Line systems (85 pcs.) and Vasofix Braunule intravenous catheters (100 pcs.) were transferred.

The Infusomat Space Line system plays an important role in the treatment of children with cancer. The main tasks of intravenous infusion in this context include:
● Administration of chemotherapy: Chemotherapy is one of the main methods of treatment of oncological diseases in children. The Infusomat Space Line system allows you to provide these medications precisely and in the necessary doses.
● Hydration and nutrition: Some cancers and treatments can lead to dehydration or weight loss. The infusion system allows you to provide fluids and nutrient solutions to ensure optimal hydration and support of the body.
● Antibiotic therapy: An infusion system is used to administer antibiotics to fight infections and prevent them from spreading.

In the treatment of children with cancer, the Vasofix Braunule catheter has the following applications:
● Intravenous chemotherapy: The catheter allows doctors to safely and effectively administer chemotherapy, which is a key component of cancer treatment.
● Intravenous access for tests: The catheter allows blood to be taken for laboratory tests, which helps doctors monitor the patient’s condition and determine the effectiveness of treatment.
● Administration of fluids and nutrient solutions: A catheter is used to hydrate and nourish cancer patients, especially when they have restrictions on oral food and fluid intake.

The Vasofix Braunule catheter helps provide painless and efficient access to a patient’s intravenous resources during oncology treatment, facilitating the accurate and continuous administration of medications and fluids.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported our fund. Your help allows us to do good deeds and improve the health of children. Together we are extremely strong!

We have been helping children with cancer since 2012.
