ART BOXES FOR CHILDREN IN THE KHARKIV BAKHMUT CENTER (52,200 UAH)

28.02.2025

This month, we purchased and delivered 50 Art4Kids art boxes worth a total of 52,200 UAH for children at the Kharkiv Bakhmut Center.

The gift boxes contain various creative materials that allow children to create almost any artistic masterpiece on their own or with their families.

On February 14, the Center’s administration organized a creative workshop for the children, and afterward, each participant was given an art box. Those who could not attend the workshop on that day received their boxes personally.

Since 2022, a network of 11 Bakhmut support centers has been operating in different cities of Ukraine, providing critical and urgent needs for people who were forced to relocate to safer regions. According to the Bakhmut City Council, the number of registered IDPs currently exceeds 26,000, including 5,300 children.

Bakhmut is now destroyed, and its residents have lost their homes. People have spread across Ukraine and the world in search of a place to live and raise their children. Kharkiv is one of the largest hubs where families have evacuated.

This project was implemented thanks to a fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform. We are sincerely grateful to everyone involved. Together, we were able to bring smiles to children’s faces.
