ASSISTANCE FOR FAMILY-TYPE CHILDREN’S HOME OF SVITLANA RASPERTOVA (19,626 UAH)
On March 22, 2024, we assisted the family-type children’s home of Svitlana Raspertova for 19,626 UAH. The following was provided: a tumble dryer and hygiene products.
The family consists of 10 children aged 6 to 17 years old, residing in the Lviv region (twice displaced from the Donetsk region).
Svitlana Raspertova’s family was established in early 2014, after previously serving as a foster family since 2011.
Svitlana and her husband do not have their own children, so they decided to welcome children into their family, although it was not an easy decision for the couple. At the time, Svitlana worked in an orphanage and understood that this path was not easy, but noble.
“We don’t have our children, so we love each of them as our own,” says Svitlana.
“The war affected us since 2014 when we were forced to leave and never return home. Our hometown is occupied, and we lost our house in 2015. We started a new life, but the war caught up with us again, and once again all our dreams were shattered. We had to leave everything we loved so much,” she adds.
The couple raises 7 girls and 3 boys, all of whom are wonderful and talented. Some dance, some paint, play the guitar, engage in acting, perform in theaters, sing, and are generally open and cheerful. Each has different dreams, but among them, there is one shared dream – to RETURN HOME.
The assistance was provided as part of the ‘Help to Family-Type Children’s Homes’ program.
