COAGULATOR TO THE SURGICAL DEPARTMENT (266.000 UAH)

13.07.2022

This week, the hospital, which is close to active hostilities and provides assistance to a large number of wounded civilians and military, received important medical equipment from us – a coagulator worth 266,000 UAH.

In total, 184,000 people receive medical assistance and treatment here. So the surgery department of this hospital needed equipment – an electrosurgical unit or a coagulator. It ensures maximum accuracy of manipulations, which affects not only the result but also the patient’s life.

The coagulator produces a high-frequency electric current. With its help, cutting, soldering, heating, and other types of electrocoagulation of body tissues are performed.

It helps to quickly stop bleeding, operate without the risk of introducing an infection into the wound, perform manipulations with jewel-like precision and minimize the recovery time of patients.

The hospital never had such equipment, and during operations, doctors used outdated methods, which did not provide proper hemostasis. Therefore, the purchase of a coagulator is extremely important for the surgical service of a multidisciplinary hospital.

One of the main tasks of our organization in wartime is to provide hospitals with the necessary high-tech equipment, since the civilian population of Ukraine and our defenders, who suffered from russian aggression, need prompt medical intervention to save their lives.
