EQUIPMENT AND MEDICATIONS FOR THE MILITARY HOSPITAL (1,158,000 UAH)

30.11.2023

In the past week, we delivered essential medical equipment and medications to a military hospital in Eastern Ukraine, amounting to a total of 1,158,000 UAH.

The provided items include a hematological automatic analyzer, patient warming systems (comprising 6 heating devices, 20 thermostabilizing mattresses, and 40 thermostabilizing blankets), along with pain relievers and anti-inflammatory drugs.

This military hospital plays a pivotal role in offering immediate and crucial aid to injured military personnel and war victims. The dedicated medical professionals work tirelessly each day to save lives and ensure the stabilization of patients’ conditions.

The heating systems supplied are of paramount importance during patient evacuation, effectively preventing hypothermia both during and after surgical procedures. This preventative measure is vital, as hypothermia could lead to severe complications, significantly impeding the recovery and treatment process.

The hematological analyzer serves a critical function in analyzing patients’ blood, providing essential insights into their overall condition. This examination is fundamental, as it forms the basis for further treatment.

Established in the 19th century, this medical institution has been steadfastly providing quality and effective assistance to our military since 2014, actively defending Ukraine’s territorial integrity against the russian federation. Throughout the ongoing war since 2014, the hospital has aided approximately 70,000 patients.

The successful execution of this project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the dobro.ua platform’s dedicated team.

*** The full name of the medical institution is withheld for security reasons.
