PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project aims to provide crucial assistance to 7 medical facilities in Ukraine across the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Vinnytsia oblasts. These facilities cure various individuals who have suffered injuries, including loss of mobility due to shelling and combat hostilities.
As part of the project implementation, the plan is to procure and deliver 19 units of modern and high-quality medical and rehabilitation equipment. Additionally, training sessions will be organized on electromyography, ultrasound diagnostics, and other advanced treatment methods for approximately 40 healthcare professionals including physical and rehabilitation medicine specialists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neurologists, and related fields.
Thanks to this, we will be able to expand the range of medical services, increase their efficiency, and as a result, accelerate the rehabilitation process, thereby increasing the capacity of medical institutions. Patients will receive higher quality medical and rehabilitation services, allowing them to adapt to physiological changes more quickly, increase their productivity, or even regain lost skills.
Our goal is to expedite the treatment and rehabilitation process, reduce the risk of complications, and expand the capabilities of medical institutions and their personnel.
It is worth noting that the strategic plan of our Foundation for 2024 outlines specific steps and priorities to ensure maximum support for medical institutions involved in treatment and rehabilitation. The mission of this project is to reintegrate as many affected Ukrainians as possible into autonomous life and minimize social problems caused by a large number of injuries.
EVERY HUMAN LIFE IS VALUABLE, AND OUR GOAL IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF MEDICAL AND REHABILITATION SERVICES FOR THE LARGEST NUMBER OF PATIENTS POSSIBLE. WE AIM FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL TO RESTORE THEIR HEALTH AND LOST FUNCTIONS, RETURNING TO AN ACTIVE AND INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLE.
This project is implemented, in part, thanks to the support of our partner, the GlobalGiving organization.
