HEARING AIDS FOR MARIYA VAGINA (61,000UAH)

06.03.2025

Last week, we purchased Linx 3D hearing aids for Mariya Vagina, totaling 61,000 UAH.

Diagnosis: Chronic bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, grade 3.
Date of birth: April 18, 2012.

Masha is 12 years old. She was born with a diagnosis of hydrocephalus. Since early childhood, her health has been fragile, and at the age of two, doctors diagnosed her with chronic bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, grade 3.

When Masha was only four years old, her biological mother was deprived of parental rights. She was taken into care by a kind and loving woman named Olena, who has become her greatest support and loving mother.

Today, Masha is a 7th-grade student at a special school in Bila Tserkva. Previously, sponsors helped provide her with hearing aids through the school. However, time takes its toll, and they need to be replaced. Unfortunately, the family couldn’t afford to purchase expensive hearing aids independently, so Olena reached out to our foundation for help.

For children with hearing impairments, hearing aids are the key to the world of sound. They help children perceive speech, develop their language skills, and communicate fully with peers and adults. Hearing aids allow a child to learn more effectively, explore the world, and take an active part in life. They are not just technical devices—they are tools that give a child the chance to feel part of society.

Despite all the challenges, Masha is a creative and active girl. She loves to draw, enjoys dancing, and has repeatedly won medals in school sports competitions.

This project was made possible thanks to fundraising on the dobro.ua platform.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this happen!
