HUMANITARIAN AID TO FAMILY-TYPE CHILDREN’S HOMES (31 959 UAH)

14.07.2023

We provided assistance to three more family-type children’s homes in the form of household appliances, household chemicals, hygiene products, bed linen, and stationery for a total amount of  31,959 UAH.

– Tkalya family, who are displaced from the city of Marganets (Nikopol district), and currently live in the city of Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region. They raise 8 children.
– Batiuk family – displaced from the Donetsk region, now living in Cherkasy. They have 10 children under their care.
– Oleksyuk family – Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region. They have 9 children under their care.

In the base of the Fund, there are at least 100 family-type children’s homes that have daily needs for full functioning from Kharkiv, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, and other areas where active hostilities are taking place.

Any married couple can create a family-type children’s home, having passed the appropriate training. This is a more modern, effective, and humane form of raising children who are deprived of parental care. Each family-type children’s home is controlled by the state, but unfortunately, not all their needs can be realistically met, especially in wartime conditions.

The war affects the quality of life of all Ukrainians, and we strive to provide Ukrainian children with everything necessary for life and education to contribute to the formation of full-fledged and aware citizens who will create our independent state tomorrow.

The assistance was provided within the framework of the Help to Family-Type Children’s Home support program.

We are sincerely grateful for the cooperation of the chain of pies “Titka Klara”.
