MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE TREATMENT OF WOMEN-DEFENDERS IN LVIV HOSPITAL (540 000 UAH)

02.02.2024

On January 30, 2024, together with our friends and partners, EasyPay payment system, we purchased and delivered an irrigation pump for hysteroscopy valued at 540,000 UAH to the gynecological department of the Lviv Regional Hospital for Veterans of War and Repressed Persons named after Y.Lypa.

This assistance was provided as part of the ‘Helping the Army’ project and improved the quality of medical services for women affected by hostilities or shelling.

Previously, in June 2023, we granted a hysteroscope worth 421,000 UAH for minimally invasive surgeries for women. The pump is a necessary and important addition to this equipment, ensuring safety and effectiveness of the procedures. This system provides optimal control over the patient’s condition during surgery.

The Lviv Hospital is one of the few that has a specialized gynecological department, and we aim to provide the institution with all the necessary equipment so that our female defenders have dignified treatment.

In May 2022, gynecological assistance to women defenders was first deployed in the hospital. Over the past year, the department has treated more than 500 patients, and hysteroscopy has been performed more than 250 times since the equipment was provided in June 2023.

Medical assistance is provided to women defenders, internally displaced persons, war-affected individuals, and locals.

In 2024, together with EasyPay, we plan to implement medical projects for the treatment and rehabilitation of the wounded. You can join our ‘Helping the Army’ project by making a charitable contribution through any EasyPay payment terminal. You can also make a donation on the company’s website.
