MEDICINES FOR THE TREATMENT OF SEREDA ARINA (10,023 UAH)
On March 7, 2024, for the treatment of Arina Sereda, we provided special nutrition Nutridrink and medication Nifuroxazide for a total amount of 10,023 UAH.
Date of birth: March 30, 2015
Diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
At the end of November 2022, little Arina was diagnosed with “acute lymphoblastic leukemia” (96.6% blast cells in the body). The girl’s mother didn’t even suspect oncological disease in her child. It started with Arina having an acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI), then she often felt tired, ate poorly, wanted more rest, but the parents attributed it to the consequences of the illness she had had. And then the girl’s condition suddenly worsened, and already after 2 days, oncology was detected.
“It was on Sunday, we took blood tests and were hospitalized in the hematology department,” Arina’s mother says, “then it was terrifying to imagine that I would hear the diagnosis of LEUKEMIA!!! In November, our joint struggle for life began! It is very difficult for her to overcome everything because now the immunity after all the chemotherapy blocks is weak. But she is a smart little girl because her thirst for life gives me air and confidence that we will overcome everything!!”
During treatment, Arina had sepsis, bleeding, thrombosis of the left jugular vein, arterial hypertension, acute allergic reactions to medications, and blood products. Unfortunately, the veins in her arms are tired from chemotherapy, so they are infused in her legs. The treatment process is complex, but the family firmly believes that their little girl is recovering.
