REHABILITATION EQUIPMENT FOR THE NEUROSURGERY AND NEUROLOGY CENTER IN UZHHOROD (363,825 UAH)

25.01.2025

Last week, with the support of Vodafone Ukraine, rehabilitation equipment worth 363,825 UAH was purchased and delivered to the Uzhhorod Regional Clinical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology. The delivered items include a Neofect Smart Pegboard for rehabilitation and SCH-1 rehabilitation stairs.

The facility provides both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients with various injuries, including fractures of the upper and lower extremities, mine-blast injuries, musculoskeletal trauma, and more. The hospital has an inpatient unit with 45 beds and serves 45 to 50 inpatients monthly.

The ergonomic therapy board is especially beneficial for patients with head injuries, as it helps restore cognitive functions impaired by brain damage. By performing various exercises on the board, patients gradually regain essential skills such as planning, decision-making, and coordination, which are crucial for returning to daily life.

The rehabilitation stairs for gait retraining are used to restore motor skills and balance of patients with severe injuries, helping them relearn how to walk and strengthen the muscles of the lower limbs.

The provided equipment will not only facilitate faster recovery but also ensure a personalized approach for each patient.
We are deeply grateful to our partner, Vodafone Ukraine, whose support made this project possible.
