SUPPORT FOR HOSPITALS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH VODAFONE UKRAINE (1,180,490 UAH)

21.02.2025

This month, in partnership with Vodafone Ukraine, we completed a comprehensive project to support medical institutions in Ukraine that provide assistance to children and adults affected by the war.

We provided hospitals in Kherson, Uzhhorod, and Vinnytsia with essential medical equipment totaling 1,180,490 UAH.

We delivered an electric gynecological chair, BOOM 1, and BeneFusion infusion and syringe pumps to the Kherson Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.

This hospital helps children injured during the war. It offers various services, from obstetrics and gynecology to oncology treatment and complex surgeries. Each year, it provides inpatient care to 16,000 patients and outpatient care to 80,000.

The pumps we provided ensure accurate medication dosing, the administration of vital drugs and solutions, minimizing the risk of errors, and improving treatment quality in critical conditions, intensive care, and long-term recovery for children. Modern professional gynecological equipment will provide comfortable and safe conditions for examinations, diagnostics, and treatment, which is critical for supporting women’s health in such difficult circumstances.

We delivered a Neofect Smart Pegboard rehabilitation board and SCH-1 rehabilitation stairs to the Regional Clinical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology in Uzhhorod.

This facility provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients with various injuries, including fractures of the upper and lower limbs, blast injuries, musculoskeletal trauma, and more. The hospital has an inpatient department and serves up to 1,000 patients annually.

The rehabilitation board for occupational therapy is especially useful for head injuries, as it helps restore cognitive functions impaired by brain damage. The rehabilitation stairs for gait retraining are used to restore motor skills and balance in patients who have suffered severe injuries, helping them relearn how to walk and strengthen their lower limb muscles.

We provided the passive rehabilitation device Fisiotek 3000 TS for Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Hospital named after O.I. Yushchenko.

In 2023, a Rehabilitation Center and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation department were opened at the Vinnytsia hospital. Each year, about 1,000 patients, including veterans with various injuries such as traumatic brain injuries, gunshot and blast wounds, strokes, and PTSD, as well as internally displaced persons, receive treatment here. The department is also a center of excellence according to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and serves as a training platform for multidisciplinary teams.

The passive rehabilitation device promotes early mobilization and faster recovery of joint functions, which, in turn, helps patients return to an active life.

Thanks to this initiative, the hospitals have received modern equipment that will help doctors provide more effective assistance to the injured. Caring for the health and rehabilitation of patients is our shared priority. We are grateful to Vodafone Ukraine for their support and will continue working to ensure quality medical care in Ukraine.
