THE MAGIC OF ST. NICHOLAS: ANOTHER UNFORGETTABLE DAY FOR CHILDREN

15.12.2025

On December 6, St. Nicholas Day, 20 children in Lutsk experienced real magic and added another bright and warm day to their collection of happy memories.

This unforgettable day became possible thanks to our long-time friends, city24.

During an inspiring clay modeling workshop, the children created unique handmade dishes together with their brothers and sisters, foster parents, and friends. Older children made plates, while younger ones worked at the potter’s wheel to create clay cups. Everyone could express themselves freely — boldly, creatively, and in their own way, without any limits. It was a true atmosphere of unity, when the whole family came together in a shared creative process and the world around seemed to pause for a moment.

After the workshop, the children enjoyed a cozy time at a café with warm cocoa and sweet treats — a moment to simply be together, laugh, and share impressions.

To make the holiday last even longer, we gifted each family books from their wish lists: Christmas stories, modern children’s literature, books that develop imagination and worldview, as well as Kobzar by Taras Shevchenko. This variety once again showed how unique and special the interests of each child are.

We truly believe that moments like these give children not only joy but also the feeling that there are always people nearby who support them and believe in them.

Let’s create miracles together — small, but truly important ones.
