TOGETHER FOR CHILDHOOD: A DAY FOR FOSTER FAMILIES
On May 31, together with our friends and partners at EasyPay, we brought a bit of celebration to 11 children from two family-type children’s homes — the families of Alla Holeva and Ivan Korol.
The children visited the “City of Professions” in Leoland (Lviv), where they tried themselves as police officers, doctors, models, dancers, and many more. There was a lot of joy, excitement, and discovery.
The event ended with a warm shared lunch — and one more pleasant surprise: each family received a tablet from our foundation as a gift.
We believe it’s important not only for children to dream — but also to have opportunities to grow, learn, and feel supported.
The Korol family from Dublyany, Lviv region, is raising nine foster children, including toddlers, schoolchildren, and a student. The couple first became a foster family, and since 2021 they have been running a family-type children’s home.
They dream of raising not only happy children but also kind, compassionate, and caring people.
The Holeva family from the Kherson region became a family-type children’s home in 2015 when they welcomed their first three children. After losing their home due to the war, they relocated to the Lviv region, where they now care for nine children. Each child has their own interests, takes part in music or sports, and grows up surrounded by love.
This initiative was carried out as part of our program to support family-type children’s homes.
