TREATMENT COURSE FOR KIRA MAIBORODA
Last week, our foundation paid for a treatment course for Kira Maiboroda in the amount of 5,000 UAH.
Diagnosis: autism.
Date of birth: March 16, 2016.
Kira is 7 years old, she is a kind, lively, and restless child. At the age of 3, she was diagnosed with “childhood autism.” Since then, the struggle began: constant rehabilitation, sessions with specialists, and visits to doctors…
Over the past 4 years, there have been many positive changes, but there is still much to work on. Unfortunately, Kira does not speak yet, and a lot of effort is needed for this to happen, as she is preparing to go to school next year. Also, the girl has problems with behavior control and emotional regulation, as any dissatisfaction is expressed very demonstratively by the child.
To achieve the desired result, rehabilitation must be continuous and stable, and for a single mother like Kira’s, it is very difficult to pay for her daughter’s treatment, so they need support.
The assistance was provided as part of the “Children Help Project” program.
